I am going to adopt a male Pit Bull, and I am stumped on what to name him. I have some ideas, but I would like to see what you might have in mind. I would like a masculine name, something that sounds strong and bold. I realize that not everyone is fond of Pit Bulls. I respect that everyone has their own opinions, as I have mine.

I hope one of these sounded neat or atleast gave you an idea :] Good luck on naming you puppy, maybe wait until you get him and see what you think fits him best. Just make sure to keep him socialized, it's fun to have a mean looking, tough dog but not fun to have an actual mean dog… :/

I can never name a dog until I see it. You should wait, maybe he will look like a… (fill in the blank). His face will tell you what his name is, I'm sure of it.

Please pick a name that won't continue the stereotype that Pits are mean dogs. I don't like names like Killer, Dozer, Duke, etc because they just seem to give the wrong impression. I have 2 pits (one is half Mastiff) named Madoc and Chester. Personally, I like names especially for bully breeds that aren't "fluffy" but are sweet and friendly like Ace, Corey, Aries, or Jake.

I think it's too cliche to name a Pit Bull a nice masculine name. I have a Bull Mastiff that weighs around 290 and he is named FiFi. Yep, a huge man of a dog named Fifi. Got a problem with it?
