Pit Bull Terrier Dog

The American Pit Bull Terrier is both a powerful and agile dog of medium size, famous for its impressive jaws. It can be very aggressive toward other dogs and requires proper socialization from the early days.

This breed was used for dog fighting but if it's not trained as a warrior, it can make a very good family companion often known as "nanny dog" due to noted love of children. Today the American Pit Bull Terrier is often used as a service and therapy dog, and as a rescue dog.
