How do I know if my English Bulldog is pregnant?

RachelOffTheHeezay: How do I know if my English Bulldog is having puppies?
Okay my boy english bulldog [Otis] mounted our girl [Sophie] and its like right after her period, and now her nipples are big. We have never had a girl dog before so, we don’t know. [Me and my mom]. Help?
We know what to do if she is, we are just wondering. Her nipples used to be tiny, now they are all the suddenly big.

take her to the vets and have a sonogram and x-ray done
this breed most of the time need c-sections so you should be sure.
    I hope she makes it

How horribly irresponsible of you to leave two intact dogs together. Dogs don't get periods, they have /heats/.

You clearly have no idea what you are doing, so you definitely shouldn't be breeding. Stop backyard breeding and fix your pets. A vet will be able to tell you more than any of us could.

my dogs just did this and we now have a litter of 5 puppies! they're purebred so we registered them and everything. depending on how long ago it was her appetite will have increased about a week after the incident. and she may begin mothering a stuffed animal. she'll carry the pups for 57- 63 days.
me and my mom had to figure this out too, but the experience was so much fun!
ask me if you have any questions!

    Bring her to the vet.

Bulldogs can rarely deliver naturally and often require cesarian sections. Otherwise, her life is at extreme risk.

Never, ever house two unaltered dogs of opposite sex unless they are seperated for a period before, during and after her heat cycle.

Why don't you go to the vet and ask them to check just to be sure? It's better to know so that you know how to look after her if she's in-pup :)
