I have five dogs in my house, four Central Asian Ovcharkas, and one Caucasian Ovcharka plus a few CAOs living with my friends. These are great breeds and I feel very lucky to be able to keep these kinds of animals. As we know they need space and their own yard for guarding.

I have never met other breeds as loyal and with their own kind of humor as the Central Asian Shepherd. All my dogs are different kinds of personalities too, they have big differences in their temperament, for example, how and what they guard.
But all of them are my dear friends.
Today the level of Central Asian Ovcharkas is not very high in Finland, and that is why I buy my dogs from abroad, like from Russia, Lithuania, etc. Hopefully in the future things will be different.
Samur is my youngest male but he sees himself as a big boy already. Samur has a pretty temperament and is already an excellent guardian.
He is very affectionate when it comes to his own people that makes him easier to handle.

The Finnish Kennel Club (FKC) is a nationwide expert organization on canine matters. The Kennel Club was established in 1889, and in 2014 it has celebrated its 125th anniversary.
The aim of the club is to promote the breeding of pedigree dogs, support diverse dog-related activities, and improve dog-keeping standards in Finland. The Kennel Club disseminates expert information and serves as a comprehensive lobbying organization for Finnish and international dog activities.
At the moment, the Finnish Kennel Club has two subsidiaries: Showlink Oy and Kustannus Oy Koiramme. Showlink Oy consists of a unit, located in the centre of Espoo, that focuses on dog show services and sales, as well as a Leppävirta-based unit, which is responsible for the Finnish Kennel Club's telephone counseling and data storage services. The primary function of the Kustannus Oy Koiramme publishing company is to publish and produce Koiramme, the FKC membership magazine. The magazine's office is located in Turenki and it has more than 380,000 readers.
The Finnish Kennel Club and its subsidiaries generate a total turnover of some €10 million.
