❀Hapagirl❀: My dog attacked another dog?
Ok, so today I was walking my dog, and we came across two very well trained dogs. That went fine. But when we got a little further, there was this mean dog near by. He was hissing and growling at my dog. The owner came by, and that dog bit my dog. There was not lost blood or anything, but my dog was very scared, so we walked away. Then we saw yet another dog. They sniffed each other for about 5 minutes while the dog's owner and I talked. Suddenly, my dog lunged at the little dog and tried to bite his neck. Of course, I pulled him away. Was this all because of the mean dog? Will my dog be agressive now or something? Please help!

You didn't mention how much time elapsed between the aggressive dog and the small dog encounters.
Your dog may have been over-excited from the aggressive dog, still.

He might of just been agitated by the event before...Is he usually aggressive towards other dogs?
next time you go for a walk see if he is aggressive.

your dog is fine he found something in the little dog that of its energy it felt insecure to it so it tried to get out of there ny any means nessary. your dog is not aggressive and the other dog had nothing to do with this t was only showing your dog who was boss and your dog submitted which was good if it actually snapped at your dog.

If he has never showed that behavior before then I would say he was riled up from the encounter with the other bully dog and now felt a little bent out of shape so he took out his frustration on the next dog he saw and also since he was the more submissive with the aggressive dog he could of also been reinserting his own dominance by reacting like that to this new dog. I don't think he will continue to behave like that, it happened so soon after he was bit that tensions were high for him and he may have felt a little threatened still and unsure....just keep him on a short leash when around future dogs to gage his behavior, if he starts showing aggression, pull him back and make him sit/stay and get him into a calm focused on you state again before continuing.

It sounds like your dog hasn't had much interaction with other dogs, which thats fine, but things like that will happen your dog is apparently scared and threatend. From now on make sure you pay very close attention when yours is around others. This will probably be a phase, and if you interact your dog with others, your dog will grow out of this phase earlier. Don't worry about your dog being mean, if he has never shown signs of aggression he won't, its just something that happened to it. Good Luck!
